Metric alerts

In Metrics Explorer, you can create alerts on a metrics either in the Fullscreen mode, or when using separate query charts.

You can create these types of metrics alerts:

• Threshold alert
• Change alert
• Outliers alert
• Anomaly detection
• Forecast alert

Set alert on a metric

In the Combine or separate query charts section, the distinct charts have the option of creating alerts on the metric they represent.

1. For the metric where you want to set the alert, click the alert icon.

2. The Create Metric Alert interface appears. Proceed to create the alert, as described in Create alert. Notice that

Notice that the graph of the metric appears at the top of the interface as is, without functions or filters. This makes it easier to determine which metric values you can use to build the new alert.
