Deprecations

From time to time, we change our approach to solving the many aspects of observability so significantly, that we deprecate existing features and replace them with a new solution.

This is the log of recent deprecations on the Kloudfuse platform.

Release 3.4.0

In this release, we renamed RBAC Groups to Teams.

We deprecated and removed the Analytics service.

Policy Config Management

We deprecated and removed the separate UI page for Policy Config Management; instead, we added this information to the relevant policy configurations within relevant Group definitions. See Manage Teams.

Artifact Migration

Deprecated import of dashboards and alerts through the Kloudfuse Catalog Service. Use the Kloudfuse Customer Scripts instead.

Permissions

Deprecated and removed earlier permission architecture, and replaced it entirely with new RBAC approach. In the application, see the Admin tab. Here, see Authorization: Role-Based Access Control.
