## Disaster Recovery Support in Kloudfuse

Kloudfuse installs as a single helm chart on a Kubernetes cluster for Google Kubernetes Engine ( [GKE](https://cloud.google.com/kubernetes-engine?hl=en)), Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service ( [EKS](https://aws.amazon.com/eks/)), and others. These platforms store the data in persistent volumes, and back them up in cloud storage — GCS/S3, and others. Kloudfuse relies on backup and recovery for the region and availability zone failures through the respective cloud provider’s Kubernetes cluster backup and recovery features.
