# APM Service detail service map

The Service Map is a graphical workflow representation of all services in the deployment. Unlike the [APM Service map](https://docs.kloudfuse.com/platform/3.3.6/apm-service-map/), this is the detailed view that shows only the service, its immediate predecessors (upstream services), and its successors (downstream services).

This section of the Service page provides the following information and affordances:

1. Use **Zooming** options to see the details of the service map:

- (Zoom in) to see more details of some nodes in the map.
   - (Zoom out) to see more items in the map.
   - (Reset zoom) to use the original size of the service map.

2. Use **Search** to find the nodes by name when you have a long list.

3. The **Legend** for the nodes contains:

- **Selected** nodes
   - **Error** nodes had errors during the time interval.
The size of the red ring corresponds to the number of errors.
   - Click the **Highlight** drop-down to highlight **requests**, or **nothing**.
The size of the amber ring corresponds to the number of requests.

4. **Options** menu lets you configure the service map view:

- **Orientation** of the map: **horizontal** or **vertical** (default)
   - **Edge style** for connection path is: 90° angle, straight lines, or curves
   - **Hide Dangling Nodes**
   - **Hide Unknown Nodes**
   - **Show Mini Map**
   - **Show Only Paths with Errors**

5. The **Map** of all nodes that match search and filtering criteria: the service node, and its upstream and downstream services..

When you hover over the name of one of the **nodes**, Kloudfuse displays the detailed facet and filter information for that node.

When you hover over one of the **paths** (connections between nodes), Kloudfuse displays the detailed facet and filter information for that path.

You can click the name of the other nodes to see their performance details; see [APM Service detail](https://docs.kloudfuse.com/platform/3.3.6/apm-service-detail/).
