# Control Plane Traces

The **Control Plane Trace** interface summarizes the traces of internal services.

Follow these steps to get to the **Control Plane Traces** interface:

1. Click the **Control Plane** tab, and then the **Traces** option in the drop-down menu.

2. The **Traces** interface appears.
3. The **Traces** interface is organized into the following sections:

## Use the Control Plane for Traces

The control plane for **Traces** has the following affordances:

1. Click  to add new panels to the interface.
2. **Overall interval**. The default is **Last 6 hours**. Click the drop-down to use the time picker and select the appropriate time interval.

3. **Refresh display**: click  (Refresh) to update the display.
4. Use the **orgId** selector to show data from _All_ monitored organizations, or only one of them.
5. Use the **target** selector to show data from _All_ monitored targets, or only one of them.
6. Use the **namespace** selector to show data from _All_ monitored namespaces, or only one of them.
7. Use the **percentile** selector to show data for the specified latency measurement: 0.50, 0.75, 0.90, 0.95, or 0.95.
