Control Plane Outliers

The Control Plane Outlier Resources interface summarizes the unusual and irregular activities in the system.

Follow these steps to get to the Control Plane Outlier Resources interface:

1. Click the Control Plane tab, and then the Outlier Resources option in the drop-down menu.
2. The Outlier Resources interface appears.
3. The Outlier Resources interface is organized into the following sections:

• Hosts - CPU and Memory
  • Hosts - Disks
  • Hosts - Network
  • Replicas - CPU and Memory
  • Replicas - Disks
  • Replicas - Network

Use the Control Plane for Outlier Resources

The control plane for Outlier Resources has the following affordances:

1. Click to add new panels to the interface.

2. Click (Actions) to work with the Dashboard. You can:

   • Export Dashboard JSON
   • Copy Dashboard JSON
   • Delete Dashboard

3. Overall interval. The default is Last 6 hours. Click the drop-down to use the time picker and select the appropriate time interval.

4. Refresh display: click (Refresh) to update the display.

5. Use the orgId selector to show data from All monitored organizations, or only one of them.

6. Use the target selector to show data from All monitored targets, or only one of them.

7. Use the namespace selector to show data from All monitored namespaces, or only one of them.

8. Use the replica owner selector to show data for that value.

9. Use the outlier threshold selector to specify the threshold value; it is 0.50 by default.
